Join us for an introductory lecture to René Girard’s Mimetic Theory and an exploration of conflict desire, and the roots of violence.

John Babak Ebrahimian, PhD, who studied under René Girard, will present on Girard’s understanding of the origins of human violence, how the Bible exposes the scapegoat mechanism, and how Jesus’ Passion reveals and overturns it once and for all.
