Second Sunday of Advent

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

This Monday is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It’s a Holy Day of Obligation, which means that all Catholics must attend Mass this Monday. We’ll have our usual 12:10pm daily Mass and a 7pm evening Mass. There we’ll celebrate God’s generosity in preparing Mary for her unique role as the Mother of Jesus by exempting her from original sin. Also, we celebrate Mary this Friday on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadeloupe, which is not a holy day of obligation. There we celebrate Mary’s solicitude for the Americas. 

Also, this Friday, 12/12, we have our next NightFire, our 8th so far. The church will be open from 8pm until 11pm, candlelit, with adoration and beautiful music. Please stop by and help us evangelize the Village!
