6th Sunday of Easter

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

This Thursday is Ascension Thursday, when our Lord ascended into Heaven. After the Resurrection, He met with His Apostles, and now, 40 days later, He ascends to His true home in Heaven with His Father. Nine days after the Ascension, Christ will send us the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, to unite us to Christ and to lead us along the path blazed by Christ, the path of salvation that leads to Heaven, our true homeland. Let us rejoice that we are called to live in eternal joy with the Holy Trinity! 

This Ascension is a Holy Day of Obligation, so we’ll celebrate a 7pm Ascension Vigil Mass on Wednesday, and on Thursday we’ll celebrate a 12:10pm Ascension Mass and a 7pm Ascension Mass.
