divine mercy sunday

by Fr. Boniface, O.P.

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

Happy Divine Mercy Sunday! Today we conclude the Octave of Easter by celebrating God's love for us, which has saved us from sin and death. This salvation is real and present to all who seek it: follow Christ and see.

Many of our ministries that were previously paused for Holy Week are now back. This Monday, 4/13, Dominican Discourse restarts at it's normal 7:30 time in the parish hall. Check the bulletin or parish website for all the ministries coming back online this week.

This Thursday the School of Sacred Music's series on Easter hymns continues at 7pm in the church.

This Friday, we have a special guest lecturer, John Babak Ebrahimian, who is a specialist on the Catholic philosophy and Theology of Renee Girard, and he will give a talk entitled "How Violence Works." It should be a good talk. it's at 7:30pm this Friday in the parish hall.

We have a lot more planned for this Spring, so make sure to regularly check for our parish emails and read the bulletin or webpage.

Have a blessed Easter,

Fr. Boniface
