TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME

by Fr. Boniface Endorf, O.P.

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

We’re planning an exciting final event for our parish Boiler Fund: a dinner at Monte’s. In case you don’t know, Monte’s is parishioner owned and operated and has been a family run restaurant since 1918. They’re only a few blocks away on MacDougal St. They’re the restaurant that caters our annual St. Joseph parish dinner. They have generously agreed to host our final fundraising dinner at their restaurant. Pietro Mosconi will serve a four course Italian dinner with wine pairings for each course. It’ll be a really great dinner! The dinner is Tuesday, October 21st, at Monte’s, 6:30pm. We have 70 tickets available for the dinner, which we’ll start offering at next Sunday’s Masses, until they’re gone. It’s $120 per person, with half the money going to the boiler fund. Please get your ticket soon—it’ll be a wonderful night and a great way to support the boiler fund!

This Tuesday we’ll have a special event related to the release of a new book that provides the scientific case for the existence of God. It’s just been translated into English, after having had a very successful release in France. A former parishioner, now back in France, is returning to run the event. If you’re interested in the intersection of faith and reason you’ll want to be at this event, being held this Tuesday, September 23rd, in McGuire Hall at 7pm. There will be cocktails too. I hope to see you all there!

God bless,

Fr. Boniface Endorf, O.P.
