TWENTY-sixth SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

Our Boiler Fund final dinner is October 21st, at Monte’s, at 6:30pm. It will be a 4-course Italian meal with paired wines. It will be great! Monte’s a parishioner owned restaurant that also caters our annual St. Joseph dinner, and they’re only a few blocks from St. Joe’s. Tickets are on sale after the Sunday masses and are $120 per person. Half of all proceeds go to the boiler fund. There are only 70 tickets so pick up yours asap.

One sweetener for the Monte’s Boiler Fund dinner: Nordstrom reached out to me and they are donating an experience worth $750, including a styling appointment, $500 of purchases during the styling appointment, and lunch or dinner for 2 at their restaurants. We’ll raffle off the gift at the dinner. Thank you Nordstrom!

CCD starts this Sunday, and our OCIA course, where people prepare to join the Catholic Church, already has over 100 people in it this year. Please keep all the children and families in CCD and all those preparing to join the Church in your prayers.

This Friday night, October 3rd, is our 7th Nightfire, where the church will be open 8pm to 11pm with adoration, music, and candlelit. Please consider joining us—it’s a very beautiful and prayerful event.
