Third Sunday of EAster

by Fr. Boniface Endorf, OP

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

Cardinal Dolan is starting a new initiative, “Called by Name,” that seeks to find vocations to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of New York. There are cards on the table in the narthex that young men who are interested can fill out and return to us to learn more about becoming a diocesan priest for the Archdiocese of New York. As a Dominican parish, we also encourage vocations to become Dominican friars, sisters, or nuns. If interested simply talk with any of the Dominicans here.

As a part of the “Called by Name” initiative, Cardinal Dolan has asked that his letter be sent to parishioners, so it is attached to this letter.

This Friday our Spring Thomistic Institute talks continue with our second talk of three. Dr. John Grabowski from CUA will give a talk entitled: “The Theology of the Body: Catholic Anthropology for the 21st Century.” It should be a fascinating talk relevant to many current issues and debates, and I encourage everyone to join us this Friday at 7pm in McGuire Hall.

Have a blessed Easter Season!
Fr. Boniface
